The Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) has announced the appointment of Professor Steven Dean MRCVS as Chairman of the Board of Trustees in succession to Dr Andrew Higgins, who is stepping down after seven years in the post.

Television Presenter Julie Collier was awarded the George Ford Award for services to Retired Greyhounds on 25 January at the Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) awards ceremony held at The Lancaster Hotel in London.
The Retired Greyhound Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Morris-Tomkins as its new Chief Executive.
Retired Greyhound Trust Chief Executive, Peter Laurie, will be leaving the charity in January 2015 to take up the post of Director of Operations at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.
Greyhounds took over Nottingham Racecourse for the eighth year running on Saturday 20 September for the 2014 Great Greyhound Gathering (GGG), the UK's largest greyhound show.
Mandy Rowlands and her colleagues at Kirkfields Equestrian Centre have raised another £2,000 to support the RGT's East Midlands Branch, bringing their total donations to more than £7,000 over the past few years.
